1. About Us
Fistful of Sudz is a residential and commercial cleaning service based in Riverdale, Georgia, owned and operated by William Brown. We serve clients across 12 cities in the Atlanta metropolitan area. References to "we", "us", "our", or "Fistful of Sudz" refer to the business. References to "you", "your", or "Client" refer to anyone using our services.
2. Acceptance & Eligibility
By booking a service or using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you are booking on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Our Services
Fistful of Sudz provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services, including:
- Recurring residential cleans (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- One-off and deep cleans
- Move-in and move-out cleans
- Commercial cleaning for offices, retail, gym, medical, warehouse, and similar spaces
- Optional add-ons (oven, fridge, windows, and more)
Specific inclusions for each service are described in our quote and Welcome Pack. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, or non-payment.
4. Quotes & Bookings
Quotes are provided in writing via our instant quote system or by direct quote. Pricing assumes standard property condition. If actual conditions require significantly more time or effort (extra rooms, heavy soiling, debris, hazards), we will notify you before commencing work and provide a revised quote for your approval.
Submitting a quote request or contact form does not create a booking. A booking is confirmed only after we receive payment and send written confirmation.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is required upfront, before each clean begins. After booking, you will receive a secure payment link by email. Your clean is confirmed once payment is received.
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and electronic transfer. All payments are processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
For ongoing commercial schedules, we can set up automated billing on a card on file with your consent.
All fees are quoted inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Late payments may incur a fee of $25 or 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, whichever is greater, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand life happens. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a clean.
- More than 24 hours notice: No fee. We'll reschedule or refund in full.
- Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booked service applies.
- Lockouts: If our team arrives and cannot access the property after a 15-minute wait, the visit is treated as a same-day cancellation and the 50% fee applies.
Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed within 5 business days. Fistful of Sudz reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to staffing, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control, and will not be liable for any indirect losses you may incur.
7. Access To Your Property
You are responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property at the scheduled time. This can include:
- Being home to let us in
- Providing a key, lockbox, garage code, or door code
- Arranging building sign-in or security clearance (for commercial premises)
We treat all access information as confidential and store it securely. Keys and codes are returned or removed from our systems if you cancel ongoing service.
8. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient clean, you agree to:
- Disclose any hazards before our team arrives (mold, biohazards, broken glass, structural issues, etc.)
- Secure pets in a safe area or let us know they will be roaming
- Identify any fragile, valuable, or sentimental items you'd prefer we avoid
- Provide running water and electricity at the property
- Inform us of any allergies or product preferences in advance
We reserve the right to refuse or pause service if we encounter conditions our team determines to be unsafe, including but not limited to biohazards, pest infestations, or unsafe structural conditions.
9. Equipment & Supplies
Fistful of Sudz provides all standard cleaning equipment, supplies, and products. If you prefer specific products (eco-friendly, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, etc.), please let us know in writing in advance. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests but cannot always guarantee specific brands.
10. Service Quality & Satisfaction
We stand behind every clean. If you are not satisfied with any part of your service:
- Notify us within 24 hours of the clean
- Describe the specific area or item that needs attention
- We will return to address the issue at no additional charge
This guarantee applies to standard cleaning services and does not extend to outcomes that cannot be reasonably achieved (permanent stains, structural damage, conditions caused by other parties, etc.).
11. Damage & Breakage
Our team takes great care in every property we clean. In the unlikely event we cause accidental damage:
- Notify us within 48 hours of discovery
- Provide photos and a description of the damage
- We will review and respond promptly, working with you to resolve the matter fairly
Fistful of Sudz carries general liability insurance. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Damage caused by items that were already unstable, improperly installed, or fragile beyond reasonable handling
- Damage caused by undisclosed property conditions
- Normal wear and tear
12. Non-Solicitation Of Staff
You agree not to directly hire, engage, or contract any Fistful of Sudz team member (employee or contractor) introduced to you through our services, either as an employee, independent contractor, or otherwise, for a period of twelve (12) months following the last service we provided to you, except through Fistful of Sudz. This protects the significant investment we make in recruiting, training, and supporting our team. If you breach this clause, you agree to pay a placement fee equal to $2,500 per team member.
13. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded by law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fistful of Sudz, its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your failure to disclose hazards or pre-existing conditions at the property
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Injury, illness, or damage caused by undisclosed conditions at the property
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, government order, labor disruption, utility failure, or acts of God. In such cases, we will reschedule the affected service or provide a refund where applicable.
16. Intellectual Property
The content on our website, including the Fistful of Sudz name, logo, designs, photographs, text, and graphics, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
17. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing service arrangement at any time by providing 7 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate services immediately for:
- Non-payment or repeated late payment
- Abusive behavior toward our team
- Unsafe property conditions
- Breach of these Terms
Any cleans already booked and paid for during the notice period will be honored, subject to your continued compliance with these Terms.
18. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation between you and us. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts located in Clayton County, Georgia, or through binding arbitration if both parties agree.
You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Fistful of Sudz to the extent permitted by law.
19. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
20. General Provisions
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements (Welcome Pack, Service Agreement), constitute the entire agreement between you and Fistful of Sudz regarding our services.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Independent Contractor: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Fistful of Sudz.
